Full cast and creative team have been announced for the U.S. premiere of Lucinda Coxon’s Happy Now?, to play the Yale Repertory Theatre in New Haven, October 24-November 15. The production, which will open officially on October 30, will be directed by Liz Diamond.

First presented earlier this year at London’s National Theatre, the play concerns Kitty, who struggles to balance her personal freedom with family life, fidelity, and a demanding job.

The cast features Kelly AuCoin (Johnny), Mary Bacon (Kitty), Brian Keane (Carl), David Andrew Macdonald (Michael), Joan Macintosh (June), Quentin Maré (Miles), and Katherine Powell (Bea).

The creative team features Sarah Pearline (sets), Heidi Hanson (costumes), Matt Frey (lighting), and David Budries (sound). Diamond is the company’s resident director and has previously helmed their productions of dance of the holy ghosts: a play on memory, Fighting Words, and The Cure at Troy, among others.
