National Tour of Spamilton: An American Parody Announces Official Opening

The tour will kick off December 27 in Cleveland.

The North American tour of the musical comedy Spamilton: An American Parody will celebrate its official opening at Playhouse Square in Cleveland on December 27, where it will play through January 6. The tour began performances on December 20.

Spamilton is written and directed by Gerard Alessandrini. In addition, the creative team includes Gerry McIntyre (choreography), Dustin Cross (costume design), Richard Danley and Fred Barton (musical arrangements), and Michael Cassara (casting director). The show has also launched productions in Chicago and Los Angeles.

The cast features Chuckie Benson, Ani Djirdjirian, Marissa Hecker, Brandon Kinley, Adrian Lopez, Dominic Pecikonis, Datus Puryear, and musical director Curtis Reynolds at the piano.

In addition to Cleveland, announced first-year tour stops for Spamilton: An American Parody are the Smith Center in Las Vegas (January 22-February 10), Huntington Theatre Company in Boston (February 12-March 10), and the Straz Center in Tampa (April 9-May 12). More stops are to be announced later.
