Casting has been announced for the new rock musical White Noise, at Chicago’s Royal George Theatre, which will run April 1-June 15, with an official opening set for April 9.

Two-time Drama Desk nominee Sergio Trujillo will direct and choreograph the show, and Oscar winner Whoopi Goldberg is among the producers.

White Noise features a book by Matte O’Brien and music and lyrics by Robert Morris, Steven Morris and Joe Shane. It was originally conceived by Ryan J. Davis with a story and characters by Joe Drymala.

The show follows a pair of sisters who are discovered by a powerful record producer, and groomed into a well-packaged rock/pop band, which mixes irresistible harmonies with coded rhetoric into chart-blazing hits.

The cast will feature MacKenzie Mauzy, Emily Padgett, Patrick Murney, Eric Morris, Wallace Smith, Rodney Hicks, John Hickok, Luba Mason, Michael Buchanan, Joseph Anthony Byrd, Kelli Eileen LaValle, Tess Soltau, Ashley Adamek, Erin McGrath, John Arthur Greene, and Constantine Rousouli.

The production will feature music direction by Jesse Vargas, sets by Robert Brill, costumes by Paul Tazewell, lights by Jason Lyons, sound by Garth Helm, and multi-media design by Raj Kapoor.
