Megan McGinnis and Robert Adelman Hancock will once again star as Jerusha Abbott and Jervis Pendleton, respectively, in the musical Daddy Long Legs, when it plays Northlight Theatre, September 16 – October 24, with an opening on September 25. Tony Award winner John Caird will direct.

Featuring a book by Caird, with music and lyrics by Paul Gordon, the show is based on the novel by Jean Webster. Set in turn-of-the-century New England, it is the story of Jerusha Abbott, a talented orphan sent to a prestigious college by an anonymous benefactor she whimsically dubs “Daddy Long Legs.” The musical premiered at the Rubicon Theatre in Ventura, California October 2009 with the same leads.

The creative team will include Laura Berquist (musical director), David Farley (sets and costumes), Paul Toben (lighting), Cecil Averett (sound), and Brad Haak (music supervisor/additional orchestrations).
