Lookingglass Theatre Company has announced a series of post-performance panel discussions to be held in conjunction with its production of Ed Schmidt's Mr. Rickey Calls A Meeting, running through February 19. Nicole Brooks has directed the production.

Set in 1947, the play centers on Branch Rickey, General Manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers, as he approaches Jackie Robinson to play as the Major League's first black ballplayer. Among the participants scheduled to take part in the series are Dr. Harvey Young and Natalie Moore, who will take part in Game-Changers: Paul Robeson, Joe Louis, Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, Branch Rickey, & Jackie Robinson on January 29; Miller Green and Chuck Meyers, who will be featured for 1947 to 2012: Choices and Changes, Then and Now on February 1; Alison Cuddy, Mona Noriega, Ella Baker, and Dr. Barbara Ransby, who are slated for The Speed of Change: Revolution or Evolution? on February 5; Phil Burgess, Connie Lindsey, and Roberto Sepulveda who will take part in a panel entitled Barrier-Breakers on February 9; and Dr. Carol Adams and Pemon Rami who will be featured for The Rise and Demise of the Negro Leagues: What Was Lost, and At What Cost? on February 12.

The series will conclude with the panel discussion Who's In The Game?: Race and Sports, Then and Now on February 19 with three-time Gold Glove winner Minnie Minoso and professor Bill Savage.

The cast includes Kevin Douglas (Clancy Hope), Anthony Fleming III (Joe Louis), Javon Johnson (Jackie Robinson), James Vincent Meredith (Paul Robeson), Larry Neumann, Jr. (Branch Rickey), and Ernest Perry (Bill "Bojangles" Robinson).

The Mr. Rickey Calls A Meeting panel discussions will take place immediately following each performance and are offered free to ticketholders.
