Katherine L. Condit, Joseph Anthony Foronda, et al. Set for Silk Road Cabaret

Christine Bunuan, Dipika Cherala, Katherine L. Condit, Joseph Anthony Foronda, Erik Kaiko, Govind Kumar, and David Rhee will star in the world premiere of Silk Road Theatre Project’s world premiere presentation of Silk Road Cabaret: Broadway Sings the Silk Road, conceived and curated by the company’s artistic director Jamil Khoury, and directed by Elizabeth Margolius, with musical direction by Gary Powell. The production will play Pierce Hall at The Historic Chicago Temple Building, October 21-November 1, with an opening set for October 25.

The show will feature songs from popular Broadway musicals that are set along the Silk Road, including Pacific Overtures, Jesus Christ Superstar, Bombay Dreams, Kismet, The King and I, Zorba, and Miss Saigon. The design team will include Lee Keenan (set design) and Chris Feurig (lighting design).
