Karena Fiorenza Ingersoll Named New General Manager of Steppenwolf

Karena Fiorenza Ingersoll will join Steppenwolf Theatre Company as the organization's new general manager, beginning her role in October.

As general manager, Ingersoll will oversee all aspects of Steppenwolf’s operations including finance, information technology, human resources, facilities, audience experience, events management, and office management. The general manager is responsible for the strategic financial leadership of the organization and will lead a sophisticated team of full-time staff and part-time staff.

Ingersoll brings more than a decade of experience as a leader and producer in the performing arts. Currently general manager for the internationally recognized Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, also functions as the general manager for the multidisciplinary ensemble company, Universes. She holds two bachelor’s degrees from the University of California at Berkeley and an M.F.A. in Theater Management from Yale University.
