Hubris Productions Announces 2012 Season

Hubris Productions has announced its 2012 season, which will begin with
Wendy MacLeod’s House of Yes (March 22-April 28, Greenhouse Theater Center). In it, a hurricane during Thanksgiving is just the beginning for the Pascal Family. Eldest son Marty arrives with a surprise-his fiancée, Lesley. This doesn’t sit well with mother, Brother Anthony and least of all his twin sister Jackie-O (recently released from a mental hospital) You think your family is crazy during the holidays? You ain’t seen nothing yet!

In Simon Gray’s Butley (July 5-August 11, Greenhouse Theater Center),
Ben Butley is a brilliant soul in crisis. Dissipated, boozing, terminal cynic and always jealous university professor, he is facing both the breakup of his marriage and the dissolution of a longtime affair with Joey, former student and now a fellow faculty member.

The season will conclude with Hubris Productions’ own Annee Pocalypse! (September 7-16, Mary’s Attic), by Jason Dabrowski, Jacob Christopher Green and Calidonia Olivares, presented just in time for the elections. It’s the very near future and the world has come to an end. Why? Because America voted a Republican into the White House, of course! Will Annee find her Sugar Daddy? Will Mistress Flannigan force Annee back to The House of Hooch and Cooch? Will Muffy cut someone? There’s going to be some singing and dancing and by the end of the show you just might learn something too!
