Goodman Theatre Holds Childrens’ Auditions for A Christmas Carol

The Goodman Theatre will audition children of all ethnicities between the ages of 5 and 17 for its upcoming production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. The theater is looking for actors to fill several roles including Tiny Tim and the other Cratchit children.

Auditions will be held at the theater on August 31. Actors can register for audition times from 9:30am to 11:30am on the 31st in the lobby of Goodman Theatre. Auditions will be held from 10am until 3pm. Appointments for auditions will not be accepted by phone.

Young performers will be asked to perform a memorized poem or monologue no longer than a minute in length and one verse of a song (preferably a traditional holiday song or Christmas carol) without accompaniment. They will also be asked to provide a photo and resume including including age, height, weight, previous theatrical and related experience/training, address and contact information.
