Tony Award winner Ivo van Hove's production of Arthur Miller's A View From the Bridge recently began previews at Chicago's Goodman Theatre. The drama, a remounted staging which had successful runs on both London's West End and Broadway, is scheduled to open September 18. Check out photos from the production in the gallery below.

Miller's play is described as follows: "Brooklyn longshoreman Eddie Carbone welcomes his immigrant cousins to America. But when one of them falls for Eddie's young niece, Catherine, Eddie's jealous mistrust exposes an unspeakable secret — one that drives him to commit the ultimate betrayal."

The cast features Ian Bedford as Eddie Carbone, Catherine Combs as Catherine, Daniel Abeles as Rodolpho, Ronald Connor as Louis, Brandon Espinoza as Marco, James D. Farruggio as Officer, Ezra Knight as Alfieri, and Andrus Nichols as Beatrice. The creative team includes Jan Versweyveld (sets and lighting), An D'Huys (costumes), and Tom Gibbons (sound), with Jeff James as associate director.
