About Face Theatre has extended Philip Dawkins’ The Homosexuals. Directed by Bonnie Metzgar, the production will now play through August 14 at The Victory Gardens Richard Christiansen Theater.

The play centers on a young gay man who, on the first night in a new town, is invited to a party where he meets a group of people who have more of an impact on his life than he could ever imagine.

The company features Patrick Andrews, Scott Bradley, Benjamin Sprunger with Stephen Cone, Eddie Diaz, and John Francisco, along with Elizabeth Ledo, who appear in the production through July 24, and be replaced by Sara R. Sevigny.

The creative team includes Regina Garcia (scenic design), David Hyman (costume design), Heather Gilbert (lighting design), and Sarah Pickett (sound design).
