1st Annual Chicago Fringe Festival Announces Preliminary Lineup
An initial lineup of productions that will be seen as part of the first annual Chicago Fringe Festival, which will run September 1-5, has been announced.
Among the local Chicago productions are the New Millennium Theatre Company’s The Texas Chainsaw Musical, Genesis Ensemble’s sweet, half-darkness, Hubris Productions’ Annee Pocalypse, and Timothy Mooney Repertory Theatre’s Moliere Than Thou.
Productions that will be coming to the Festival from outside the city include Theater Undeclared’s revival of Grind: The Musical, Tiberius Productions’ Touch My App, Nicole Kearney Productions’ And Ya Don’t Stop a hip hop play, and Opium, Fireworks and Lead’s Exhausted Paint: The Death of Van Gogh.
