Natalie Joy Johnson, Matt Loehr et al. Set for Cape Playhouse’s Crazy for You

Cape Playhouse has announced casting for its production of the Gershwin musical, Crazy for You, to run August 8-20.

In the show, Bobby Child is a stage struck playboy who only wants to dance. After going to Nevada to foreclose on a theater, he falls in love with the spirited Polly Baker, but naturally runs into complications, including mistaken identities, show-stopping Follies numbers, and an irate and frustrated fiancé.

The cast will feature Matt Loehr as Bobby Child, Vanessa Sonon as Polly Baker, Natalie Joy Johnson as Irene, Bill Bateman, and Michael Brian Dunn.

Among the classic songs included in the show are “Someone to Watch Over Me,” “I Got Rhythm,” “Embraceable You,” and “Shall We Dance.”
