Tony Awards Announce Official 2019 Calendar of Events

The Tony Awards have announced the calendar for the 2018-19 season.
As previously announced, the 2019 Tony Awards will take place on Sunday, June 9, at Radio City Music Hall. Nominations for the 2019 Tony Awards will be announced at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, April 30. The official eligibility cutoff date for all productions opening during the 2018-19 Broadway season will be Thursday, April 25.
In addition, the following events will take place:
Wednesday, May 1: the annual Meet the Nominees Press Reception at Sofitel New York.
Tuesday, May 21: the exclusive Tony Nominees' Luncheon at the Rainbow Room.
Monday, June 3: the Tony Honors Reception, a presentation of the Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre, including a toast for the 2019 Creative Arts Nominees and Special Award recipients. This event will also take place at Sofitel New York.
As in previous years, the 73rd annual telecast will be broadcast live on CBS from 8pm to 11pm.
The Tony Awards are presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
