The Boys in the Band has recouped its $3.5 million investment in 11 weeks, with four weeks still remaining in the production's limited run at the Booth Theatre.

Mart Crowley's 1968 comic drama centers on a group of gay men who gather in a NYC apartment for a friend's birthday party. After the drinks are poured and the music turned up, the evening slowly exposes the fault lines beneath their friendships and the self-inflicted heartache that threatens their solidarity.

Featured in the cast are Jim Parsons (Michael), Zachary Quinto (Harold), Matt Bomer (Donald), Andrew Rannells (Larry), Charlie Carver (Cowboy), Robin De Jesús (Emory), Brian Hutchison (Alan), Michael Benjamin Washington (Bernard), and Tuc Watkins (Hank). Joe Mantello directs.

Performances of The Boys in the Band began on April 30, with the run scheduled to conclude on August 11.
