Melanie Moore, Adam Dannheisser Join Danny Burstein in Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof

More casting for the classic musical has been announced.

Further casting has been announced for the upcoming Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof, directed by Bartlett Sher and starring five-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein and Tony nominee Jessica Hecht at the Broadway Theatre.

The company will include the previously announced Adam Kantor (The Last Five Years) as Motel, Adam Dannheisser (Rock of Ages) as Lazar Wolf, Karl Kenzler (You Can't Take It With You) as the Constable, Melanie Moore (Finding Neverland) as Chava, and Nick Rehberger (The Glass Menagerie) as Fyedka. Eric Bourne, Jacob Guzman, Reed Luplau, Brandt Martinez, Sarah Faye Parker, Marla Phelan, George Psomas, and Jonathan Royse Windham will be featured in the ensemble.

Produced by Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, and Jam Theatricals, Fiddler on the Roof will feature choreography by Hofesh Shechter, based on the original work of Jerome Robbins Sher's creative team is made up of frequent collaborators Michael Yeargan (scenic design), Catherine Zuber (costume design), and Donald Holder (lighting design).

Featuring a book by Joseph Stein and a score by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, Fiddler on the Roof is inspired by Sholom Alecheim's stories of the milkman Tevye, who tries to hold on to "tradition" as the world around him and his family in the little village of Anatevka changes. This Broadway production is the show's sixth since its record-breaking debut in 1964.

Performances will begin November 12 in advance of a December 17 opening at the Broadway Theatre.
