Inspired by cartoonist Alison Bechdel's graphic novel-memoir of the same title, Fun Home, with a Tony-nominated book by Lisa Kron, and Tony nominated score by Kron and Tesori, follows the real-life Bechdel's journey to accept the death of her stern, closeted father, Bruce, while also coming to terms with her own sexuality. Kuhn plays Bechdel's real-life mother, Helen. She stars alongside fellow 2015 Tony nominees Michael Cerveris,Beth Malone, Sydney Lucas, and Emily Skeggs, as well as Joel Perez, Roberta Colindrez, Zell Morrow, and Oscar Williams. It runs at the Circle in the Square Theatre.

Judy Kuhn gives a squeeze to legendary theatrical songwriter Sheldon Harnick, who helped Kuhn earn a Tony nomination for the musical She Loves Me.
