After acclaimed runs at Lincoln Center Theater, London's National Theatre, and across the United States, John Lithgow's solo show Stories By Heart will make its Broadway debut this winter at the American Airlines Theatre. The Roundabout Theatre Company production, directed by Daniel Sullivan, will run December 21-March 4, with opening night set for January 11.

In this theatrical memoir, Lithgow "evokes memories of family, explores and expands the limits of the actor’s craft, and masterfully conjures a cast of indelible characters from classic short stories by Ring Lardner and P.G. Wodehouse." Lithgow's first iteration of Stories By Heart premiered in 2008, with Jack O'Brien directing.

The design team will include John Lee Beatty (sets) and Kenneth Posner (lights). The full creative team will be announced soon.

Lithgow won Tony Awards for his work in Sweet Smell of Success and The Changing Room, and received nominations for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, M. Butterfly, and Requiem for a Heavyweight. He is the recipient of three Emmys, two SAG Awards, and a Golden Globe for his role in the sitcom Third Rock From the Sun, as well as Emmys for his work on Dexter and Amazing Stories. He is a 2017 Emmy nominee for his performance on Netflix's The Crown.
