Fun Home Composer Jeanine Tesori Receives Star on Famed Playwrights' Sidewalk

Fun Home scribe Jeanine Tesori received a star on the Playwrights' Sidewalk outside the Lucille Lortel Theater on Christopher Street on May 21. Tesori was named this year's sidewalk honoree at the 2015 Lucille Lortel Awards, held May 10.

Tesori received her fifth Tony Award nomination for her work on Fun Home, which is currently running at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre. Her works also include Violet, Shrek the Musical, Caroline or Change, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Twelfth Night.
