Flashback Friday: Audra McDonald and Will Swenson Sing Their '70s-Sitcom Hearts Out

A new Broadway baby is coming into the world — and not only will this lucky tyke be getting a couple of uber-talented parents but also a pair of folks with stellar taste in TV. As we learned earlier this week, Tony Award nominee Will Swenson and six-time Tony Award-winning Shuffle Along star Audra McDonald will welcome a new addition to their family this fall.

To celebrate the news, we dug up this video of the expectant parents dueting on the theme song to the classic 1970s sitcom Laverne and Shirley (featuring an award-worthy vocal arrangement). Some kids might find a thing like this embarrassing, but fortunately for you, Baby McSwenson, your parents have Broadway cred.
