Broadway's Les Misérables Casts a New Fantine

Montego Glover will exit the hit revival.

Alison Luff, most recently seen on Broadway as Miss Honey in Matilda, will assume the role of Fantine in Broadway’s Les Misérables beginning February 4 at the Imperial Theatre. Montego Glover will play her final performance as Fantine on February 3. Luff comes to the production directly from the world premiere musical Breaking Through at Pasadena Playhouse. She also starred in the national tour of Wicked as Elphaba and appeared on Broadway in Mamma Mia!, Ghost the Musical, and Scandalous.

The revival production of Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil’s classic musical opened at the Imperial Theatre on March 23, 2014, earning three Tony nominations. The production currently stars Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean through February 28. John Owen-Jones assumes the role beginning March 1. Adam Monley currently stars as Javert with Hayden Tee assuming the role beginning January 29. The cast also features Gavin Lee as Thenardier, Rachel Izen as Madame Thenardier, Brennyn Lark as Eponine, Chris McCarrell as Marius, Alex Finke as Cosette, and Wallace Smith as Enjolras. The revival is scheduled to run through September 4.
