The Broadway production of Anastasia will welcome Penny Fuller and Constantine Germanacos to the company this winter.

Germanacos, an original cast member who played the roles of Tsar Nicholas II and Count Ipolitov, will rejoin the production in the role of Gleb, replacing Max von Essen, who departs December 16. Germanacos begins performances Tuesday, December 18.

Emmy winner Fuller will assume the role of the Dowager Empress the week of January 7, replacing two-time Tony winner Judy Kaye, who plays her final show on January 6.

Anastasia opened at the Broadhurst Theatre on April 24, 2017. The musical features a book by Terrence McNally and an original score by Tony Award winners Stephen Flaherty (music) and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics). Tony winner Darko Tresnjak directs. Ahrens and Flaherty penned the tunes for the 1997 animated film on which the stage musical is based, and have expanded their score, which contains the songs "Once Upon a December" and "Journey to the Past," for the theatrical production.
