In time for its fifth anniversary, the Broadway production of Aladdin will welcome a trio of new leading players to the company during the month of February.

Ainsley Melham, who played the title role in the musical's Australian production, will make his Broadway debut as Aladdin beginning February 19, alongside Mike Longo, who assumes the role of Kassim. Michael James Scott, an original company member who went on to play the role of the Genie in Australia and currently plays it on the North American tour, assumes the Genie role on Broadway beginning February 15.

Major Attaway, the current Genie, will join the North American tour, and will then return to the Broadway production, following Scott's last performance on September 15. Telly Leung and Steel Burkhardt, the current Aladdin and Kassim, will play their final shows on February 17.

Melham, Scott, and Longo join the Broadway company that also stars Arielle Jacobs as Jasmine, Jonathan Freeman as Jafar, Brian Gonzales and Brad Weinstock as Aladdin's sidekicks Babkak and Omar, JC Montgomery as Sultan, and Don Darryl Rivera as Iago. Juwan Crawley, Dennis Stowe, and Deonté L. Warren stand by for several principals.

Melham, Scott, and Jacobs all starred in the original Australian production.
