Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical Hamilton has set yet another record, becoming the most nominated production in the history of London's Olivier Awards.

The West End production received a total of 13 nods, including Best New Musical, Outstanding Achievement in Music (Miranda), Best Director (Thomas Kail), Best Theatre Choreographer (Andy Blankenbuehler), among others. It replaces Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and Hairspray, which jointly held the "most nominations" record with 11 each.

Broadway favorites Audra McDonald and Bryan Cranston received their first nominations each for Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill and Network, respectively.

The National Theatre's revival of Angels in America, which is currently running at the Neil Simon Theatre, received a total of six nominations, including Best Revival, Best Actor in a Play (Andrew Garfield), Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Denise Gough), and Best Actor in a Supporting Role (James McArdle).

Jez Butterworth's The Ferryman, which opens on Broadway this October, received a grand total of eight nominations, including Best New Play.
