Al Pacino-Led Glengarry Glen Ross Revival to Begin at the Schoenfeld Theatre in October

The previously reported upcoming Broadway revival of of David Mamet’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Glengarry Glen Ross, starring Oscar and Tony Award-winner
Al Pacino, will play the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre beginning previews on October 16 in advance of a November 11 opening.

Daniel Sullivan directs the production, which will star Pacino as elder real estate salesman Shelly Levene. Pacino previously played top salesman Ricky Roma in the play’s film adaptation.

The production will have set design by Eugene Lee and costume design by Jess Goldstein.

Pacino and Sullivan have previously collaborated on the Broadway revival of The Merchant of Venice,for which they both received Tony nominations. Pacino received Tony Awards for The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel and Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie?, and the Academy Award for Scent of a Woman.

Glengarry Glen Ross will be produced by Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel and Jam Theatricals, the same team behind the work’s last Broadway revival, in 2004.
