Lyric Stage Company Reveals Casting for Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

Scott Edmiston heads the newly announced creative team.

Lyric Stage Company has announced the cast and creative team for its upcoming production of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. Directed by Scott Edmiston, the run is set to begin January 13, in advance of a January 15 opening, and run through February 12.

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf's cast will include Steven Barkhimer as George, Paula Plum as Martha, Erica Spyres as Honey, and Dan Whelton as Nick. The show examines the breakdown of a middle-aged couple, who mercilessly draw a naive younger pair into the bitter psychological cage match of their frustrated marriage.

The creative team will feature Janie E. Howland (set design), Chip Schoonmaker (costume design), Karen Perlow (lighting design), and Dewey Dellay (sound design).
