Big Fish starts performances tonight at SpeakEasy Stage Company. The musical, based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and the motion picture by John August, follows a traveling salesman Edward Bloom. The music and lyrics are by Andrew Lippa and the book is by John August. The musical features Katie Clark as Josephine, Sarah Crane as Girl in the Water, Jackson Daley as Young Will, Aimee Doherty as Sandra Bloom, Steven Goldstein as Edward Bloom, Will McGarrahan as Amos Calloway and Dr. Bennett, Zaven Ovian as Don Price, Sara Schoch as Jenny Hill, Sam Simahk as Will Bloom, Lee David Skunes as Karl the Giant, Daniel Scott Walton as Zacky Price and the Mayor, and Aubin Wise as the Witch.

The creative team includes Matthew Stern (musical direction), Larry Sousa (choreography), Karen Perlow (light design), Elisabetta Polito (costume design), Jenna McFarland Lord (set design), David Reiffel (sound design), Seághan McKay (projection design), and Marsha Smith (stage manager)

Performances will run through April 11.
