Reagle Music Theatre has announced casting for Lerner and Loewe’s My Fair Lady, to run August 10-19 in the Robinson Theatre. Larry Sousa will direct, with musical direction by Dan Rodriguez.

Based on George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion, My Fair Lady tells the story of an arrogant and crotchety phonetics professor who transforms a spirited Cockney flower girl into an elegant, proper-speaking English lady.

Broadway veteran Rick Hilsabeck will star as professor Henry Higgins alongside his real-life wife Sarah Pfisterer, who will play Eliza Doolittle. The cast will also feature R. Michael Wresinski (Colonel Pickering), Jerry Walker (Alfred P. Doolittle), Robert St. Laurence (Freddy Eynsford-Hill), Donna Sorbello (Mrs. Higgins); Beth Gotha (Mrs. Pierce), and Rick Sherburne (Zoltan Karpathy).

Jeffrey P. Leonard will conduct the 26-piece orchestra. Choreographer Susan Chebookjian will recreate Hanya Holm’s original Tony Award-nominated choreography, and Joe Michenzie will adapt Cecil Beaton’s original Tony Award-winning costumes.
