Miguel Angel Falcon, Derek Hanson, Rebecca Riker et al. Set for NSMT’s Chorus Line

North Shore Music Theatre has announced casting for its production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, A Chorus Line, to run November 2-21.

The show tells the story of 17 dancers competing for 8 coveted spots in the chorus of a Broadway musical. Through the audition they bare their souls while sharing stories of their childhood, ambitions, fears, and experiences in show business.

The musical was conceived and originally choreographed and directed by Michael Bennett, and features a book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante, music by Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by Edward Kleban. For this new production, Mark Martino re-stages the original direction and choreography.

The creative team will include Nick DeGregorio (musical director), Richard Wadsworth Chambers (scenic designer), Jose M. Rivera (costume designer), Christopher S. Chambers (lighting designer), and James R. McCartney (sound designer).
