Jacquelyn Piro Donovan, Lauren Weintraub to Headline North Shore Music Theatre’s Annie

North Shore Music Theatre has announced casting for its production of Martin Charnin, Charles Strouse, and Thomas Meehan’s award-winning musical Annie, July 17-29.


James Brennan will direct the production. Musical direction will be by Nick DeGregorio, with choreography by Patti Colombo.

Lauren Weintraub will star as Annie alongside Jacquelyn Piro Donovan, who will play Miss Hannigan. The cast will also feature Raymond Jaramillo McLeod (Oliver Warbucks), Jessica Tyler Wright (Grace Farrell), John Shiappa (Rooster), Shanna Marie Palmer (Lily St Regis), Howard Pinhasik (F.D.R.), and Mikey (Sandy).

The cast will also include Piper Birney, Maggie Budzyna, Heather Buccini, Elena Carmichael, Jessica Lewis, Joanna Rosen, Paul Aguirre, Desiree Davar, Patrick David , Rachel Fairbanks, Adam Lendermon, Cheryl McMahon, JP Qualters, Sara Michelle Reardon, Roger Preston Smith, and Sean Watkins.


The design team will also include Timothy R. Mackabee (set design), Paula Peasley-Ninestein (costume coordinator), Jack Mehler (lighting design), and Charles Coes (sound design).
