Russell Harvard and Steven Goldstein Star in I Was Most Alive With You
Huntington Theatre Company has released photos from its currently running production of Craig Lucas' new play I Was Most Alive With You. The play stars Russell Harvard as Knox and Steven Goldstein as Ash. Performances will run through June 26.
I Was Most Alive With You centers around Knox, a deaf, gay, recovering addict, and his family. When tragedy strikes Knox, the delicate balance of his life is thrown off. In the ensuing chaos, his family's and his own faith is tested.
Playwright Lucas also directs the production, which features Marianna Bassham as Astrid, Nancy E. Carroll as Carla, Tad Cooley as Farhad, Dee Nelson as Pleasant, Gameela Wright as Mariama, Joey Caverly as Shadow Interpreter/Ash, Amelia Hensley as Shadow Interpreter/Pleasant/Mariama, Monique Holt as Shadow Interpreter/Astrid/Carla, and Christopher Robinson as Shadow Interpreter/Farhad/Knox.
The creative team includes Dane Laffrey (set and costume design), Mark Barton (lighting design), Daniel Kluger (sound design and original music), Lucy Mackinnon (projection design), Sabrina Dennison (director of artistic sign language), and Ted Hewlett (fight choreography).
