Gordon Clapp to Star in Merrimack Rep’s This Verse Business

Emmy Award winner and Broadway veteran Gordon Clapp will star in This Verse Business, A.M Dolan’s bioplay about poet Robert Frost, to run at Merrimack Repertory Theater, October 20 – November 13.

The production will be directed by Gus Kaikkonen .The creative team will include Rob Shearin (scenic assistant), Lee Viliesis (costume designer), John Ekert (lighting designer), and Jason Weber (sound designer).


Clapp starred in the 2005 Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of David Mamet’s Glengarry Glen Ross and appeared last season in the New Group’s production of Blood From a Stone.


He won the Emmy in 1998 for his work as Detective Greg Medavoy on NYPD Blue, and his many film and television credits include Flags of Our Fathers, Damages, Deadwood, Cold Case, Without a Trace, and Taking Chance.
