George Dvorsky, John Jeffrey Martin, Chelsea Morgan Stock, et al. Set for North Shore’s Footloose

North Shore Music Theatre has announced casting for Footloose, to run August 12-28. Mark Martino will direct the production, which will feature choreography by Vince Pesche and musical direction by Eric Alsford.

The show, adapted from the movie of the same name by Dean Pitchford and Walter Bobbie, centers on a teenager who rebels against a community leader’s ban on dancing.

The company will feature John Jeffrey Martin (Ren McCormack), Chelsea Morgan Stock (Ariel Moore), George Dvorsky (Reverend Shaw Moore), Maureen Brennan (Vi Moore), Marci Reid (Ethel McCormack), Stephen Berger (Principal Clark), Matthew Dorsey (Willard), Gwen Hollander (Rusty), Gary Lynch (Uncle Wes/Cowboy Bob), Marissa Rosen (Wendy Joe) Sean Watkins (Chuck Cranston), Meredith Akins (Tammy), Steven Boyd Baker (Lyle), Garrett Broadwell (Garvin), Andrea Collier (Urlean), Katharine Heaton (Eleanor Dunbar), Erin Mary Henry (Belinda), AJ Hughes (Bickle), Jen Jenkins (Aunt Lulu/Betty Blast), Kara Kimmer (Ruthann), Nathan Thomas Madden (Jeter), Joe Moeller (Travis), and Terry Moore (Coach Dunbar).

The creative team will include Michael Schweikardt (scenic design), Jose Rivera (costume design), Chris Chambers (lighting design), and James McCartney (sound design).
