Boston Metro Kids Spotlight: March ’07

Puppet Showplace Theatre (PST) offers a variety of puppet programming throughout the month, each with a two-day engagement. Early on, it’s Here Come the Clowns (March 7 & 8), a presentation of humorous vignettes from around the world. Later, PST hosts Sadecky’s Puppets in a production of Aesop’s Fables (March 10 & 11). Classic tales of Aesop are brought to life, including “The Lion and the Tiger” and “The Pig and the Wolf.” For fans of the kiddie classics, Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimy (March 17 & 18) puts an interesting spin on some well-known Grimms Fairy Tales, as a janitor uses his sponges, mops and garbage cans to tell the famous stories.
