Williamstown Theatre Festival to Present Make Someone Happy With Kelli O'Hara

In addition to the benefit, more casting and programming have been announced for the 2017 season.

Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced plans to present a benefit concert titled Make Someone Happy With Kelli O'Hara on July 24 on its Main Stage. The event will support musical theater development at Williamstown Theatre Festival.

Additionally, the festival has announced further casting for upcoming productions. Jeff McCarthy and Jose Maria Aguila will appear in A Legendary Romance (August 3-20). Sheria Irving has joined The Model American (June 28-July 9), and Reg E. Cathey, Glenn Davis, and Tavi Gevinson will appear in Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow (July 26-August 6).

Updates to the festival's popular Fridays@3 Reading Series are as follows. Seared by Theresa Rebeck, directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel and featuring Steven Pasquale as well as Chris Myers, will now be presented on July 28, while Abe Koogler’s Blue Skies Process moves to July 7. André Holland replaces the previously announced Leslie Odom Jr. in the June 8 reading of Safe Space, alongside Stephanie Hsu. Odom Jr. will appear in Ethan Lipton’s Overjoyed (August 11), and Lee Tergesen and Dean Winters have joined the Screenplay by Stalin reading (August 18).
