Mary-Louise Parker, Matthew Broderick, Carmen Cusack Set for Williamstown

Plays and playwrights for the 2018 season have been announced.

Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced its slate of productions for its 2018 summer season.

The following productions will be seen on the mainstage:

The Closet by Douglas Carter Beane (June 26-July 14). Inspired by Francis Veber's Le Placard, the Mark Brokaw-directed production will star Brooks Ashmanskas, Matthew Broderick, Ann Harada, and Jessica Hecht.

Matt Gould and Carson Kreitzer's Lempicka (July 19-August 1). Rachel Chavkin will direct this new musical, with Carmen Cusack in the company.

Lila Neugebauer will direct Carson McCullers's The Member of the Wedding, with Tavi Gevinson in the company (August 5-19).

On the Nikos Stage are the following productions:

Adam Rapp's The Sound Inside, directed by David Cromer and starring Mary-Louise Parker (June 27-July 8).

James Anthony Tyler's Artney Jackson, directed by Laura Savia (July 11-22).

Theresa Rebeck's Seared, starring Steven Pasquale and directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel (July 25-August 4).

Jen Silverman's Dangerous House, directed by Saheem Ali (August 8-19).
