The Last Goodbye, With Songs by Jeff Buckley, Added to Williamstown Season logo
The Last Goodbye, a new adaptation of Romeo and Juliet which features the music of the late Jeff Buckley, will be part of the Williamstown Theater Festival's 2010 season. Michael Kimmel, who conceived the piece, will direct the production, which will run August 5-20.

A concert version of the show was seen last year at Joe's Pub. Among the songs that are included in Last Goodbye, which also uses dialogue from Shakespeare, are "Lover, You Should've Come Over" and "Eternal Life."

The production will be seen alongside other previously announced offerings, such as Judy Gold and Kate Moira Ryan's It's Jewdy's Show: My Life as a Sitcom, Mat Smart's Samuel J. and K., and Amy Herzog's After the Revolution.

In addition, WTF will also offer a revival of John Guare's Six Degrees of Separation (July 14-25) on its Main Stage, which joins previously reported productions of Fifth of July, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and Our Town.
