Joe DiPietro's new comedy also stars Justin Long and Anna Chlumsky.
Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced complete casting for its Main Stage production of Living on Love, a new comedy by two-time Tony winner Joe DiPietro (Nice Work If You Can Get It), based on the play Peccadillo by Garson Kanin (Born Yesterday).
As previously announced, the cast will star world-renowned soprano Renée Fleming as celebrated diva Rachel DeAngelis, who hires a handsome ghostwriter to pen her autobiography in retaliation against her egomaniacal husband.
The cast will also feature Justin Long (Seminar), Anna Chlumsky (Veep), Blake Hammond (First Date), Scott Robertson (Cabaret), and Douglas Sills (The Scarlet Pimpernel). Three-time Tony winner Kathleen Marshall (Nice Work If You Can Get It) will direct.
The creative team for Living on Love includes scenic design by Derek McLane, costume design by Michael Krass, lighting design by Peter Kaczorowski, and sound design by Scott Lehrer. Rob Fisher will serve as music coordinator. The production will run from July 16-26.
