Larry Bryggman, Elizabeth Franz, Dan Lauria, Peter Riegert Set for Berkshire Playwrights Lab Benefit

Oscar and Emmy nominee Peter Riegert will join the previously reported Larry Bryggman, Elizabeth Franz, and Dan Lauria for the Berkshire Playwrights Lab New Play Benefit at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center on Friday, July 15, at 7:30pm.

The benefit will feature world premiere readings of new short plays written especially for this event. All proceeds will support the Berkshire Playwrights Lab Free Reading Series.

In related news, Peter Jay Fernandez, Brandon Gill, Tracey A. Leigh, and Judith Moreland will be among the cast members of Berkshire Playwrights Lab’s staged reading of Andrew Dolan’s The Many Mistresses of Martin Luther King. Rod Menzies will direct the presentation at Bard College at Simon’s Rock Daniel Arts Center McConnell Theater on June 29 at 7:30pm. The darkly humorous play is about a modern American family of second marriages and mixed races set in a university town.
