Julie White, Chita Rivera, and More to Honor Director Scott Ellis at Williamstown Theatre Festival Gala

Tony- and Emmy-nominated director Scott Ellis will be honored at Williamstown Theatre Festival's 2013 benefit, to be held Monday, November 18, at the Edison Ballroom. Julie White, who won a Tony for her performance in Ellis' production of The Little Dog Laughed, is set to emcee the evening, which will include appearances by fellow Tony winners Chita Rivera, Susan Stroman, and Rupert Holmes, among others.

Over the past 15 years, Ellis has directed nine productions for Williamstown Theatre Festival, including The Elephant Man, The Understudy, The Rainmaker, and The Man Who Had All the Luck. On Broadway his work includes The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Harvey, Curtains, and Twelve Angry Men. His television directing credits include 30 Rock, Modern Family, Weeds, and Two Broke Girls.
