Jeff McCarthy to Play Sweeney Todd for Barrington Stage
Broadway veteran Jeff McCarthy will play the title role in the Barrington Stage‘s production of Sweeney Todd-The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, to run June 17 – July 17, 2010. Julianne Boyd will direct the production, which will feature musical direction by Darren R. Cohen.
McCarthy has appeared at the theater previously, playing Ben in Follies and Mack in Mack and Mabel. His Broadway credits include Urinetown, Side Show, and Beauty and the Beast.
