Berkshire Theatre Group has announced casting for its upcoming production of Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

Michael Raymond-James, star of the new NBC series Game of Silence, will lead the cast as Brick opposite Rebecca Brooksher (Anna Christie) who takes on the role of Maggie. The cast will also feature Jim Beaver (Better Call Saul) as Big Daddy and Linda Gehringer (I Saw My Neighbor on the Train and I Didn't Even Smile) as Big Mama.

Directed by David Auburn, the Tennessee Williams classic follows Mississippi plantation owner, the cantankerous Big Daddy, as he celebrates his 65th birthday. His family has returned for the occasion, including his favorite son, the masculine Brick, and Brick's wife, the lonely and longing Maggie. Brick and Maggie's strained marriage plagues Big Daddy's mind, and he demands answers to why they haven't given him a grandchild yet. However, Big Daddy's family holds a powerful secret, and an ulterior motive as to why they have returned to the plantation.

Performances are set to begin June 22 on the Fitzpatrick Main Stage in advance of a June 25 press opening and will run through July 16.
