Barrington Stage Company has announced two additions to its previously announced 2015 season.

BSC's Musical Theatre Lab will present the new musical A Little More Alive, featuring a book, music, and lyrics by actor and writer Nick Blaemire (Glory Days). Directed by Tony nominee Sheryl Kaller, the folk-pop musical follows two estranged brothers who reunite at their childhood home after their mother’s funeral. An unexpected revelation distorts every memory they have as they uncover secrets that had been hiding in plain sight their whole lives. Performances will run from July 17-August 8 on the St. Germain Stage.

The world-premiere comedy Engagements, written by Lucy Teitler, will follow on the St. Germain Stage. The play takes place one summer in and around Boston and tells the story of Lauren, a bright, single millennial, who has to make some major decisions amid an unending round of engagement parties. Louisa Proske will direct the production, set to run from August 13-30.
