Ashley Park, Deirdre O'Connell, and More Sign on to Williamstown Season

O’Connell will replace Ellen Barkin in the cast of Adam Bock’s ”Before the Meeting”.

Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced additional cast and creative team members for its 2019 summer season.

Deirdre O'Connell (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) will join the cast of Adam Bock's Before the Meeting (August 7-18), directed by Trip Cullman, replacing the previously announced Ellen Barkin, who had to withdraw due to a scheduling conflict.

Also joining the season will be Tony nominee Ashley Park (Mean Girls) in Bess Wohl's Grand Horizons (July 17-28), Tony winner Frank Wood (The Iceman Cometh) in Jonathan Payne's A Human Being, of a Sort (June 26-July 7), Catherine Combs (The Blind Side) and Thom Sesma (Superhero) in Paul Walsh's new translation of Henrik Ibsen's Ghosts (July 31-August 18) starring Uma Thurman, and Owen Tabaka (The Music Man) in Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun (June 25-July 13).

Ingalls (lighting designer), David Coulter (composer), and Beth Lake (sound designer) for Ghosts; Lawrence E. Moten III (scenic designer), Tilly Grimes (costume designer), Amith Chandrashaker (lighting designer), and Sina Refik Zafar (sound designer) for A Human Being, of a Sort; Arnulfo Maldonado (scenic designer), Dina El-Aziz (costume designer), Jen Schriever (lighting designer), and Beth Lake (sound designer) for Selling Kabul; Alexander Woodward (scenic designer), Tilly Grimes (costume designer), Isabella Byrd (lighting designer), and Palmer Hefferan (sound designer) for Tell Me I'm Not Crazy; and Mark Wendland (scenic designer), Sarah Laux (costume designer), Jen Schriever (lighting designer), and Tony winner Darron L. West (sound designer) for Before the Meeting.
