Neil Barclay Resigns from National Black Arts Festival

Neil Barclay, chief executive officer and president of The National Black Arts Festival, has resigned from his post, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Before coming to NBAF, Barclay had led the August Wilson Center for African American Culture in Pittsburgh.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution quotes a statement issued from the NBAF, which declares that Barclay has already left the organization “to actively pursue other professional opportunities,” but would consult with NBAF until a replacement was found.
