Lauren Pritchard to Celebrate Wasted in Jackson CD Release with U.S. Tour

Lauren Pritchard will celebrate the release of her debut solo CD, Wasted in Jackson, with a month-long U.S. tour, slated to begin with an engagement in Little Rock, AR on March 17. The album, which had a previously announced October 26 release date, will now be available for purchase on February 22.

Other tour cities include Dallas, TX (March 18), Cypress, TX (March 19), Sante Fe, NM (March 23), Denver, CO (March 24), Logan, UT (March 25), Boise, ID (March 26), Seattle, WA (March 27), San Francisco, CA (March 31), Los Angeles, CA (April 1), San Diego, CA (April 2), Phoenix, AZ (April 3), Lawrence, KS (April 7), Minneapolis, MN (April 8), Madison, WI (April 9), St. Louis, MO (April 10), Ann Arbor, MI (April 11), Chicago, IL (April 12), Indianapolis, IN (April 14), Columbus, OH (April 15), Akron, OH (April 16), and Pittsburgh, PA (April 17).

The 11-track disc features music that recalls the performer’s Southern upbringing, including “Not the Drinking” and the title track. Other songs on the disc include “When The Night Kills The Day,” co-written with Ed Harcourt and “Stuck, which features The Roots’ QuestLove on drums.

Pritchard originated the role of Ilse in the Tony-winning musical Spring Awakening.
