About This Show

In the spring of 1952, His Excellency Bishop Jean Bilodeau is summoned to a secret meeting at an empty theatre with ex-prisoner Simon Doucet. In a matter of minutes, the Bishop finds himself held at knifepoint and watching his past unfold before his eyes, re-enacted for him by Simon’s fellow prisoners. Raleigh Ensemble Players present Michel Marc Bouchard’s Lilies in a translation by Linda Gaboriau.
