About This Show

festivaL is a festival of one act plays, contemporary art, live music and comedy.

This celebration of art from many disciplines involves over 50 artists from all over New York and beyond. Each evening of seven short plays will feature a different live musician. The comedy and improv evening features musical comedy, improvisation, stand-up comedy and a captivating performance involving percussion and a hula hoop!

Among the many artists involved: Lori Prince (Producer) is currently perfoming in Sarah, Sarah with Manhattan Theatre Club. Mac Rogers (Playwright) has had plays performed at HERE, Manhattan TheatreSource, Access Theater and Grove Street Playhouse. Chris Garneau (Musician) has performed at multiple venues throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn, including a recent packed-house performance at The Cutting Room. Steve Wargo (Director) is the Artistic Director for Personal Space Theatrics. Dennis Schebetta (Playwright) and Kathryn Savannah (Actor) recently won “Best Play” and honorable mention in the “Best Actress” category at the 2004 Turnip Festival with the American Globe Theater. Adam Fitzgerald (Producer/Director) is the recipient of the 2004 Brass Tacks Theatre Award for Outstanding Achievement in Directing. Michael Poignand (Producer) won the Howl’s New Filmmaker Audience Appreciation Award at the New York Independent Film Festival.

Monday, June 7th from 7-9pm will be a Shakespeare
MasterClass with Malcolm and Elizabeth Ingram. Tickets $20.00
