This Pulitzer Prize-winning drama by Miami playwright Nilo Cruz is set in Florida 1929, in a Cuban-American cigar factory, where cigars are still rolled by hand and "lectors" are employed to educate and entertain the workers. Anna in the Tropics is a joint production between the Maltz Jupiter Theatre and the Seattle Rep. Sharon Ott directs.
