WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Stephen Sondheim, musical theatre icon, discusses his 50-year career as a composer and lyricist for stage and screen. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize, an Academy Award and multiple Tony, Drama Desk and Grammy Awards, he wrote the music and/or lyrics for such hits as Assassins, Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music, Company, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and West Side Story. Sondheim will be joined by Tony Award-winning vocalist Kate Baldwin and Sean Patrick Flahaven, Associate Editor of The Sondheim Review, who will moderate this very special evening.
